• One key initiative extends the life of used equipment, wood, pallets, and metal.
• Partnering with Remade, we’ve created a material exchange hub to prevent industrial waste from reaching landfills. Local artists and schools repurpose these materials for creative projects.
• In 2023, we began our partnership with Bewilder to support children’s outdoor learning. We donated limpet rope and pallets for nature projects like building a spider web and bug homes.

These actions demonstrate our commitment to the 6 Rs and the end-of-life cycle of everything we purchase.

• In the lighting department, we now repair damaged circuit boards in-house instead of replacing them with new ones.

This change saves money, conserves resources, and reduces environmental impact.

Sustainable sourcing integrates social, ethical, and environmental factors into supplier and product selection, focusing on minimizing negative impacts and maximizing positive outcomes.

• We have introduced eco-friendly products, including a transition to starch-based materials for some items. These products are 100% biodegradable and compostable, reinforcing our commitment to sustainability.
• We’ve also switched to sustainable branded swag, ensuring our merchandise aligns with our environmental values.
